Dallas teens can receive free admission to the State Fair of Texas through the Dallas Park and The Dallas Park and Recreation Department is expanding opportunities for youth through its Teen All-Access Pass Program with a new partnership with the State Fair of Texas. The initiative connects Dallas teens to cultural attractions and experiences at Fair Park and partner venues, including the Oak Cliff Cultural Center.
Dallas Park and Recreation leadership expressed excitement about the new collaboration and its impact on local youth. Senior Deputy Director Crystal R. Ross emphasized the value of providing teens with free admission to one of Texas’ most iconic traditions while expanding access to enriching recreational and cultural experiences, stating:
“We’re excited to welcome the State Fair of Texas as a partner in our Teen All-Access Pass Program. They’ve been a longtime partner with us on other projects, and we’re grateful to work with them to support Dallas youth,”
Now in its sixth year, the Teen All-Access Pass Program provides Dallas residents ages 13 to 17 with complimentary admission to some of the city’s most popular attractions. Since launching, the program has distributed more than 25,000 passes, helping teens stay engaged, active, and connected to their community.
The State Fair joins a growing network of participating organizations, including the Dallas Arboretum, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Dallas Zoo, Dallas Museum of Art, The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, Shakespeare Dallas, Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, and Trinity River Audubon Center. Participating City of Dallas venues also include the Dallas Public Library, Bahama Beach Waterpark, Southern Skates Roller Rink, Bath House Cultural Center, Latino Cultural Center, and South Dallas Cultural Center.
The Teen All-Access Pass Program supports summer engagement efforts designed to provide safe, fun, and educational opportunities for Dallas youth while highlighting the importance of parks and recreation services throughout the community.
