University of Texas at Arlington Student Tours Conducted in Spanish

When: 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27

Where: Dan Dipert University Welcome Center, 580 S. Center St., Arlington, TX 76019

Who: Any high school or transfer student who wants to learn more about attending The University of Texas at Arlington. Parents, grandparents and family members are welcome, too.

Event details: All tours are conducted completely in Spanish by the Office of Admissions’ Spanish-speaking MavElite Tour Guides. All guided walking tours will start and finish at the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center. Tours are about 1.5 to 2 hours. Prospective students will see the Maverick Activities Center, the E.H. Hereford University Center, West Hall, UTA’s newest residence facility; and The Commons. Come find your future at UTA and discover what student life on campus is like. These tours provide a great opportunity for future Mavericks to explore the campus with extended family members. Register at least three days before the trip online through this website or by calling 817-272-8687. Walk-ins are welcome, but online registration is recommended. See this website for more detailed information. Parking is in the Park South Garage on South Center Street. Visitors must register their license plate number upon arrival at the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center to avoid receiving a parking ticket. If special accommodations are needed, contact the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center at 817-272-8687 or campustours@uta.edu. The Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau can help find accommodations in the area, restaurants, attractions and fun things to do during your visit.
