Last night was the anticipated night for many Dallas/Fort Worth Luis Miguel Fans. Mexican singer Luis Miguel performed his latest 2013 World Tour, “THE HITS TOUR”. The performance took place at the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie, Tuesday September 24, 2013 at approximately 8:30pm and InformateDFW got the first look of the night!
Luis Miguel, best known throughout Latin America, as “El Sol de México(the Sun of Mexico)”, definitely shined on his crowd as he lit up smiles of hundreds of fans. Leaving no seat empty and a full venue of happiness, Luis Miguel had the fans shouting, screaming, dancing and even a few jumping stage fanatics!
As love roses where being thrown across the stage, the Global super star sensation used his extraordinary voice to sing all of his number one hits. He sang all types of genres of music including, pop, romantic and even “boleros”. Songs like “No puedes dejar asi”, “Quien Sera” and a “Poppuri(variety of many songs)” of his classic hits.
Luis Miguel left the audience with a surprise moment when a Mariachi Band came on stage honoring the Mexican Flag on the big screen to interpret the song “Cielito Lindo” in his voice. Minutes later, Luis Miguel came out with the Marachi Band performing a rendition of Mexican songs like “El Rey”, “Viva Mexico” and “La Bikina”. The concert ended around 10:30pm with an explosion of Mexican colored confetti.
Luis Miguel is the son of a Spanish music star and Italian mother. His father raised him to be a music star himself and his star keeps rising. Mexican singer, Luis Miguel started his career in the music business at age 11.
Winning his first grammy at the age of fifteen, Miguel has gone on to win five Grammy Awards as well as four Latin Grammys, as well as countless platinum and gold albums. Very few Latin music stars have been able to cross over to the American music fans quite like Luis Miguel. His hit albums “Romance” and “Segundo Romance” made him the only Latin musician to have multiple albums go platinum in the United States. His tours are always among the highest grossing of the year and have broken attendance records in each of his world tours. Throughout his exceptional career, Miguel has released 21 albums and sold more than 60 million records worldwide. Luis Miguel transcends language and nationality with his epic world tours and passionate music. He is considered the world’s best male pop vocalist of his generation.
In honor of the 43 year old music icon, Luis Miguel was recently honored by the City of Las Vegas, the State of Nevada and the Las Vegas International Press Association during a Las Vegas concert over Mexican Independence Day weekend. The press association presented their highest award, the Galardon Diamante, during a performance at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Luis Miguel is a Global figure of Latin music for nearly the past three decades. Great Job on your accomplishments!
