SILVIA PATRICIA VILLARREAL
Silvia Patricia Villarreal is the publisher and chief executive officer of Infórmate DFW Magazine and an active member of the Dallas/Fort Worth community. She has a keen ability to identify business problems, needs and opportunities, along with developing solutions and building and fostering relationships.
Those qualities have allowed Silvia to succeed in different business ventures. When her lucrative, 10-year business in the real estate industry faced a severe market downturn, she refocused her energy on creating a product that would fill a void in the Dallas-Fort Worth community; a magazine dedicated to informing and educating Latinos on local events and subjects. In 2009, Silvia launched Infórmate DFW, delivering the latest commentary and features about education, culture, arts, business and the civil rights movement of Latinos while profiling rising, local Hispanic leaders. Today, the bilingual publication has an average readership of 45,000 per issue, with plans for growth.
Silvia’s leadership and interest in empowering the Latino community became evident to several DFW organizations. She currently serves as a member of several boards and committees.
