El Centro College will host Dia de la Familia (Day of the Family) on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at El Centro’s West Campus. West Campus is located at 3330 N. Hampton Road, Dallas, TX 7512.
This annual event is held at a different Dallas County Community College campus each year.
Dia de la Familia (Day of the Family) is a FREE educational program of the DCCCD, and consists of free live entertainment, food, fun, college information and health education for Hispanic families in the Dallas County. The goal for Dia de la Familia is to provide opportunities for members of Spanish-speaking cultures to learn how to get a college education. This annual event is opened to everyone in the Dallas community.
The YMCA has partnered with El Centro and will be hosting a free Healthy Kids Zone.
