Frida Fest Comes to Dallas

The inaugural Dallas “Frida Fest”, produced by the Norma-Navarro Group, is a one-day FREE event whose mission is to not only celebrate the accomplishments of this renowned and globally recognized artist, commonly known simply as “Frida” (Frida Kahlo /1907-1954) but to also highlight the internal “Frida” in all of us. To showcase the internal leadership, strength, courage, and sense of community spirit that shines bright in all our proud Latinas.

The day-long FREE event will feature Latinas from across Texas: Artists, Elected Officials, DJ’s, Musicians, and a full Market of the finest arts and crafts dedicated to our beloved Frida.

In addition, a “Best Frida” contest will be held as well as a search for the best Mexican street concessions from throughout the D/FW area and will include a VIP lounge and an invite-only pre and post-reception for all our key participants.
