MexTour Live Fan Fest was hosted on Friday, June 7 at City Hall Plaza in Dallas, TX.
The MexTour Live Fan Fest initiated the weekend long festivities leading into the marque international soccer match, México vs. Ecuador on Sunday, June 9.
The free, family-friendly event was made possible by the partnership between the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF), NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, MLS’ FC Dallas, the Dallas Sports Commission and Soccer United Marketing (SUM), that will bring the popular Mexican National Team U.S. Tour to North Texas for an annual game through 2022.
This fan fest was successful in bringing the Dallas community in touch with the Mexican National Soccer Team. The event started at 3pm. The community was able to enjoy the different free-booths. From video games, soccer matches and meeting celebrities, there was so much to do on this hot Friday evening. However, the main highlights of the night started at 7:30p, with the appearance of the Mexican Soccer team. Here, the fans cheered with excitement to see their favorite players. The soccer players responded by signing and kicking soccer balls to the enthusiastic crowd. Afterwards, the Award-winning Latin singer Luis Coronel, came out with the soccer team. He was then presented a jersey with his name by the revered goalie, Ochoa. After living one of his dreams, the young singer got ready to initiate is hour-and-a-half performance. The rest of the night was all Coronel’s show. He made the crowd go crazy by continuously throwing roses and merchandise. Obviously, the girls went wild in trying to catch a memoir of such an amazing concert.
Overall, the event was a huge success. The Dallas community had a blast from meeting their favorite celebrities to enjoying the different entertainment throughout the evening.
