The Garland NAACP is hosting a Back-to-School Rally and a Health Fair on Saturday August 24 for all of Garland. The rally and fair will take place at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. Garland NAACP, Baylor of Garland, the City of Garland and others are coming together to bring you a morning loaded with useful information and services.
The event kicks off at 9AM with seminars on health, wellness and education. After the hour, the rally and fair are set to begin and you are able to take advantage of immunizations, health screenings, Diabetes and High Blood Pressure screenings and much more. Vendor services will also be readily available that day to offer their services as well as answer your questions.
They will also offer FREE school supplies for GISD students who provide the following:
-Driver License, TX Identification or Passport
-A household bill from the month of July or August
