Ford Motor Company Fund and the North Texas Ford dealers announced more than $500,000 in scholarships to 252 senior students from across North Texas. The scholarships are part of the Ford Driving Dreams (FDD) education program that encourages youth to graduate on time and pursue higher education.
The FDD scholarships will be awarded through the “What Drives Your Dreams” essay contest. The winners will be announced during a fun celebration in May of this year. The deadline to apply is February 21, 2019. The scholarships are administered by LULAC National Educational Service Centers, Inc. (LNESC). Ford Driving Dreams launched in 2012 and to date has reached more than 200,000 students across the U.S., Puerto Rico and Latin America with tools to fuel their academic and career journeys. The program was created by Ford Motor Company Fund, the philanthropic arm of Ford Motor Company.
