This summer, Art Tales returns to the Amon Carter Museum of American Art (the Carter) on Wednesdays in June and July! Art Tales is a free, interactive event designed for young children and their caregivers. With new themes and special guests each week, this series of events offers a dynamic, repeat-worthy summer activity for our community.
Designed for young children and their caregivers, Art Tales combines interactive storytime with hands-on art activities inspired by works from the museum’s collection. Each session encourages imagination, learning, and self-expression in a welcoming environment perfect for curious young minds.
Each week of Art Takes features a new theme and guest performers, ranging from music and dance to storytelling and comedy, all connected to artworks on view at the Museum.
