Get ready to experience one of the season’s most beloved stories live on stage when Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical comes to Dallas this November. Presented by Broadway Dallas and Broadway Across America, the Broadway holiday hit will take over the Music Hall at Fair Park from November 25–29, 2026, with nine performances as part of the 2026/2027 Broadway Dallas Series.
Based on the classic holiday tale, the musical follows the scheming Grinch as he sets out to steal Christmas from the cheerful Whos of Whoville. But with the help of Max the Dog and a little holiday magic, the Grinch discovers that Christmas may be about much more than presents and decorations.
Audiences can enjoy beloved songs including “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas,” while colorful sets and whimsical costumes inspired by Dr. Seuss’ original illustrations bring Whoville to life.
The production features sets designed by John Lee Beatty and costumes by Robert Morgan, with music and a book by Mel Marvin and Timothy Mason. The 2026 production is directed by Matt August and choreographed by Bob Richard, based on the original choreography by John DeLuca and the original production created by four-time Tony Award®-winning director Jack O’Brien.
The musical has become a holiday favorite across the country, delighting more than 3 million theatergoers since its Broadway engagements. Now, Dallas audiences have the chance to experience the Grinch’s transformation for themselves.
