Daddy Yankee stopped by and spoke with Informate DFW’s Coco Salazar about his participation in Verizon’s “Mis Fabulosos Quince” contest. He arrived right on time to speak with the media, followed by a private autograph signing for fans who donated used phones, and continued to get on stage and answer a few questions for fans who had been waiting to see him for hours.
“Mis Fabulosos Quince” is a composition contest, where young girls have the chance to win the Quinceañera of their dreams. This includes all expenses paid and a special presentation by Daddy Yankee. The expo this past saturday was one of eight expos that will be held around the country to promote the contest, which ends June 31.Businesses from around the area came to provide ideas on everything from Quinceañera dresses, decoration, food, photography and more.
The “Pasarela” singer told Informate he decided to partner up with Verizon and make a young girl’s dream come true because a Quinceañera is a very important Latin tradition that can mark a young girl’s life. As he said goodbye he did not forget to give all his Latin fans in the DFW a shout out, and added they are “super beautiful.”
