Northwood University’s DeVos Graduate School Gives Back to the Small Business Community

Does Your Business Need A Boost?

Join Northwood University for the Small Business Symposium – “Momentum Building for Your Future” on Friday, November 2 from 8:30AM to 12:00PM at Northwood University, 1114 W FM 1382, in Cedar Hill, TX.

The DeVos Graduate School is sponsoring a half day complementary seminar geared specifically towards small businesses in the DFW Metroplex who want to grow and strengthen their business in this challenging economic environment.  Participants will take part in business and personal development workshops as well as have the opportunity to network with other attendees.

“We want to help small businesses grow their companies and build momentum for the future.  This symposium is our way of giving back because we understand that viable small businesses create stronger communities; these companies are the drivers of our economy, and we want to support their efforts through educational events,” said Tara Peters, Ph.D., Associate Professor DeVos Graduate School of Management.

We’ve partnered with successful entrepreneurs, local thought leaders and Northwood University faculty to provide educational workshops designed to meet your business needs.

To continue the momentum built during the morning session, a luncheon with keynote speaker, will be held immediately afterwards. The luncheon will be held from 12:15 pm to 1:30 pm. The cost of the luncheon is $30.
