Innovative Spanish Architecture Exhibition Opens at the Latino Cultural Center

The Latino Cultural Center is honored to present the exhibition Young Architects of Spain: A Window to the Unknown, on view from November 10, 2011 through January 7, 2012. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

A lecture and panel discussion featuring curators Jesus Donaire and Jesús Aparicio and four of the young architects featured in the exhibition — Héctor Fernández Elorza, Alejandro Muñoz Miranda, Pedro Pablo Arroyo Alba and José María Hurtado de Mendoza (from the team of architects called Estudio Entresitio) — will be presented on Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The November 10th program by the curators and participating architects will be presented in collaboration with the Dallas Architecture Forum and the Dallas Center for Architecture.

The exhibition contains 62 projects covering over 100 up-and-coming architects and teams of architects. The creators have three common characteristics: their youth, their interest for investigation and teaching, and an international focus of their career paths.
