The Second Urban Artist Market will be held on May 10-11 at the Addison Conference Center. The Urban Artist Market will showcase more than 65 artisans exhibiting a diverse array of hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind creative goods and feature live demonstrations throughout Saturday.
“Our show will engage your senses,” said Dallas artist CJ Miller, who produces the event. “We invite you to stroll our aisles and discover fine art, pottery, jewelry, mosaic, sculpture, fiber art, wearable art, perfectly timed for Mother’s Day gift giving.”
Urban Artist Market opens with a VIP reception and fundraiser benefiting the Hispanic 100 on Friday, May 10, from 6 – 9 p.m. VIP ticket holders will enjoy a first look at the show, live music, drinks and appetizers with proceeds funding the Hispanic 100 Endowment Fund. Tickets are available to everyone.
“We’re proud to host the Hispanic 100 and raise awareness for their endowment fund at our May show,” said Miller. “The Hispanic 100 Endowment Fund awards charitable organizations that support their mission; one of fostering increased participation for Hispanic women in employment, procurement, and social services.”
Tickets for the Hispanic 100 VIP Fundraiser on Friday are $20. On Saturday, admission is $10 at the door and children under 12 are admitted free. Parking is free. Purchase tickets to the event by visiting urbanartistmarket.com.
