The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization in the world, representing more than three million businesses and organizations. Every year, in an effort to support these small businesses and create new jobs, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce honors those companies that have demonstrated excellent business practices with the Blue Ribbon Award, recognizing them in several areas such as strategy, job development, community involvement, and customer service.
The nomination of companies was not an easy task due to the high number of applications received across the country. However, 100 companies made it to the “winners” list and participated in the U.S. Small Business Summit held from April 29 to May 1, in Washington D.C. Mito Financial was one of these winners. From its beginning six years ago, Mito financial has distinguished itself as a provider of excellent services to the Hispanic community, and has now been acknowledged by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as one of the best 100 companies in the United States. This recognition is a true victory for the Hispanic Community.
Out of 100 companies that received this award, Mito Financial was the only Hispanic-owned business. Mito Financial is proof that, with hard work, organization and community involvement, not only can goals and dreams be achieved, but also contribute to the economy and open doors for other Hispanic entrepreneurs.
