Summer Theater Program for Kids

During five weeks the students will participate in warm up exercises: dance, theatrical games, improvisational exercises, arts and crafts, and make up. The students will develop their acting skills through games that explore the five senses, stimulating their imagination and creativity, while developing concentration and social skills.

The program culminates with a full production that includes three performances; one for children from another summer program, and two for their family members and friends. All these shows are free, allowing the students to explore the vital connection between performer and audience. All children will participate in the development of the production (acting, building or painting their set, making props, music, etc) Classes are bilingual; helping to better familiarize the child to either English or Spanish.
