    Opening Night – May 15 at 7pm

Join Teatro Dallas for a moving theatrical production inspired by the life and legacy of María Sabina. Known for her sacred healing ceremonies and profound spiritual insight, María Sabina opened a window into the ancient traditions of the Mazatec people of Oaxaca, Mexico. This compelling performance brings to life the story of the renowned Mazatec healer whose sacred rituals and spiritual wisdom became known around the world. Through powerful visuals, music, and heartfelt performances, audiences are invited to explore themes of identity, cultural preservation, and the intersection of tradition and modernity.

Rooted in indigenous heritage and rich in symbolism, Los Niños Santos de María Sabina is an immersive experience that honors ancestral knowledge and invites reflection on the impact of cultural exchange. Teatro Dallas continues its mission of amplifying diverse voices and stories, making space for cultural dialogue and artistic expression in the Dallas arts community. This production is a testament to that commitment, bridging past and present through the transformative power of theater.
