Dallas socialites, models and designers demonstrated on June 5th, at the Evol Society Gallery at Park Lane, that Fashion and Film are more than attuned. Five designers exposed their collections giving to the attendees the best runaway show of their lives. Iconic designers such as Lucy Dang from Texas Next Top Designer, Jeannie Vianney, Texas Next Top Designer 2012, among others, were present at the event that gathered approximately 100 attendees.
The event was an extravaganza. The guest were welcomed by a long red carpet leading into the entrance of the gallery, which was packed of a crowd mingled in unique styles, trends and fashion. Bomby Sapphire Gin cocktails were served to all attendees and Paparazzis kept the flashing constant, turning the place into a magical bright night. Willie Johnson from soon to be “Willies Models” demonstrated to Informate DFW the action that happens minutes before on the backstage of a fashion runway. Aveda Institute Dallas assisted with the preparation and makeup of all models.
Fashion and Film began with a live performance by Danny Church Band –former male models who decided to start making r&b music– followed by the first time see of the 2013 trailer & short film by Rashad Haughton, Love like Aliens, provided by the 12th Annual Asian Film Festival of Dallas.
The night was chic, elegant and fashion forward! One of the best nights in fashion that Dallas’ socialites has seen in a while. This was a fabulous night thanks to the work of Teresa Nguyen and her team with RED ID AGENCY.
