Put on your best costume and join Dallas Parks & Recreation for an unforgettable Halloween celebration at their annual Trick or Treat on Downtown Streets.

Teen Night

Teen Night is back and will be held on the first Friday of each month at 15 recreation centers from 6 to 9 p.m. Enjoy team sports, music, performing arts, life skill sessions, and more with your best pal!

Tired of Watering the Lawn? Create Your Own Sustainable Landscape

Attend the 30th annual Water-Wise Landscape Tour on October 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the White Rock Pump Station, 2900 White Rock Road, Dallas 75214. Explore low-maintenance landscaping through educational talks and hands-on workshops, then enjoy live music, arts, and crafts. Self-guided tour maps of drought-tolerant gardens will be available with tours starting at 11 a.m.

Unleash the Power of Poetry!

Discover the beauty of words at a free poetry reading at 11 a.m. October 19 at City Park. Every month through December, Dallas Park and Recreation and Dallas Public Library host free family-fun activities at the historic park located at 1717 Gano Street, Dallas 75215. City Park offers visitors a glimpse into 19th-century Texas life with its
display of a Victorian-era community.
