Julieta Venegas “LOS MOMENTOS TOUR”

Mexican Grammy Award winner and Pop Rock Star, Julieta Venegas rocked the night at the House of Blues in Dallas on October 23rd, 2013! She presented her latest album, “Los Momentos” which was released back in March of this year. “Los Momentos” was recently nominated for the Latin Grammy for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album Category. This is Julieta Venegas’ seventh album which joins 8 previous nominations on her last 4 records.

Singer and songwriter, Julieta Venegas arrived on stage at around 9:00pm wearing an orange printed jumpsuit with a black blazer and stilettos. The show was a big hit with an opening musical performance that started with the song “Hoy”, the first track of the new record. Second song was “Bien O Mal” followed with songs such as “Limon y Sal” and ending with her hit “Andar Conmigo”. She included her instrumental talents by playing keyboard, accordian and the acoustic guitar in many of her performances. The concert ended with a standing and devoted audience that applauded the singer and songwriter of many great hits that have become part of her legendary career.

Dallas was Julietas Venegas 17th show out 19 shows for her “Los Momentos” tour. The first one took place on September 18 at Anaheim, California, and the last one is scheduled on October 26, in McAllen, TX.

Julieta is one of Mexico’s most renowned voices and also a very loved one globally speaking. Her European tour was very successful, with the presentation of her latest work. Her concerts took place in France, London, Germany and Spain; at the latter she gave 8 concerts.

“Los Momentos” is the sixth studio recording of this Mexican singer, songwriter, instrument player and producer. It features special collaborations with Ceci Bastida, Natalia Lafourcade, Anita Tijoux and Rubén Albarrán. The record was produced by Julieta herself and Yamil Rezc.
