La Idea en Acción in Dallas is a completely free business advising and networking event broken into two formats: A panel where experts in credit, access to capital, and international trade are ready to share their knowledge and experience with attendees; and customized breakout sessions on marketing, financing, credit and international trade. Attendees will also learn more about the La Idea business plan competition, where U.S. entrepreneurs with business partnerships in Latin America can win a cash prize!
Latinos in the U. S. are opening businesses at twice the national rate, comprising over 2.3 million entrepreneurs generating over $345 billion in sales. They send over $50 billion in remittances to Latin America each year. La Idea hopes to unleash that potential and translate the knowledge, expertise, and capital of Latino entrepreneurs into tangible improvements in the countries with business, family and communities.
