The U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) Commissioner of Tourism Beverly Nicholson-Doty visited our city to promote the new non-stop flight from Houston to St. Thomas through United Airlines, as well as their summer-fall promotion. The USVI’s Department of Tourism continues its efforts to increase arrivals, attract visitors and enhance the visitor experience.
“We just launch the great summer promotion that really provides the visitor with significant value adds, so they get the fourth night free on about 50 participating hotels on all three Islands; St. Croix, St. John, St Thomas, […] it gives the fourth night free and they get $350 in spending certificates, and these certificates are not like buy one get one coupons, these have actual redeemable value, it’s $350 that people can actually use for shopping, activities, dinning. It really is equal to money,” Commissioner Nicholson-Doty said.
“The United States Virgin Islands is nice all year round, but we are especially nice in the summer with lots of festivals, events and activities for travelers looking for a fabulous vacation value,” said Nicholson-Doty.
Also, an important carnival happens in St. John during the Fourth of July weekend and another one in St. Thomas during Labor Day. Be sure you will find entertainment for the whole family in all three islands, from snorkeling to marine-life exploration, to visiting sugar cane plantations and rum distilleries,to relaxing and pampering.
Apart from all the year round entertaining event calendar, many new re-known restaurants and boutique hotels have opened recently in all three islands, you definitely must visit the USVI soon!
