The 2013 Latin Gourmet Awards are back and in full effect! Forecast? Great celebrity chefs and their culinary art!
This event will take place on Friday October 4th, 2013 at the Hampton Inn Suite & Convention Expo Center in Mesquite, TX. Event will start at 6:30 pm and will be followed by the presentation of the awards at 7:30 pm. 5 awards total will be distributed that night including 2 local awards: International Chef Award, National Chef Award, Honorary Award, DFW Local Chef Award and Entrepreneur Award. 
This year’s Latin Gourmet Awards are coming in strong. The host, Ingrid Hoffmann, will conduct the night and take us on a delicious journey through the Latino culinary world. Hoffmann without a doubt has a thorough background in the gourmet realm. As the host of the Food Network’s Simply Delicioso and Univision’s Delicioso, this Colombian native is planning to bring her expertise and charisma to the DFW. Aside from her very own TV shows, Hoffmann also features in cooking segments in the Spanish shows “Despierta America” and “Hoy”. Her excursion to Dallas also serves for another purpose and that’s the promoting and showcasing of her latest book “LATIN D’LITE: Delicious Latin Recipes with a Healthy Twist”, where she reveals her magic and secrets to achieve a delicious Latin ensemble without splurging on the calories.
