October 22-24, 2020 at Doubletree by Hilton Dallas-Campbell Centre
Dallas Dia de los Muertos is organizing its first “Mercado” dedicated to the arts and crafts of Mexico to honor the beautiful tradition of Día de Los Muertos. The same arts and crafts vendors that made the 2019 Parade and Festival such a success are back and ready to serve you and amaze our greater DFW Community. These are one of a kind arts and crafts that you will not find anywhere else, and only for this limited time. CDC COVID-19 guidelines will be followed at all times.
In addition to the incredible arts and crafts, a variety of entertainment is scheduled throughout the three-day event. The Mercado will have live Catrina Makeover session by Anel Anaya, and the best Pan de Muerto from Maroches Bakery. Maggie Wolters from Sugar Skulls DFW will be on site as well as Miguel Martin “La Kalaka” with his Catrinas and they will have a Catrina “Quince” Fashion show presented by Ana’s Boutique! A Catrina/Catrin Contest will also be held on Friday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. The contest is free to enter but you must message the event host for rules and regulations on the event page
