OLDER ADULTS 60 AND OLDER PREFORM FLASH MOB DANCE
Join us as Dallas County Older Adult Services program 60 or older celebrate life with a dance!
WHAT: Dallas County Health and Human Services recognizes Older Americans Month – Over 150 DCHHS Older Adult Senior Center participants will perform a FLASH MOB DANCE.
WHEN: May 24, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.
WHERE: Mountain View College–Student Courtyard – Between S and B Building (Enter at Duncanville Rd.) 4849 West Illinois Ave. Dallas, TX 75211
WHY: In honor of Older Americans Month. For over 40 years Dallas County Health and Human services has worked to enhance the quality of life of older citizens in Dallas County by offering a variety of service through their senior centers. Mountain View College is home to one such center the Emeritus Center at Mountain View College an active older adult program whose number one objective is to keep older adults active.
The Mountain View College Emeritus Center offers:
- Free Nutritious Lunches
- Free transportation provided to and from the Emeritus center (within specified boundaries)
- Utility assistance
- Information and Referral
- Exercise Classes
- Field Trips
- Dances
- Educational Opportunities
- Arts and Crafts
Services are provided to older adults 60 and older.
